This is a short documentary posted on YouTube. It's only about 7 minutes long, but great stuff especially starting around minute 5 (for you short attention spanned freepers LOL).

From the video, it doesn't seem to be a liberal agenda. Let's keep the kitties on standby for now.

See, this just proves what I suspected, some freepers (no disrespect to most of you) don't bother to read links or even do a cursory visit before casting hasty judgement or comments.

That's why I posted to go ahead and forward to around minute five, yet some still don't. His argument for why we are fighting in iraq is one of the best and most succint I've seen. For those who are too lazy to visit the link, basically what the documentary says is that it's not solely about WMD's as Bush's critics are harping about (or oil or other non issues). Iraq is basically the strategic centerpoint in the war against radical jihadists. Iraq is surrounded on all sides by islamist governments like syria, iran, etc. etc., and thanks to our efforts in iraq the other islamic governments were intimidated into opening up their intelligence channels. That's how the British airline bombers were thwarted a few months ago. That's why osama bin laden has failed in his efforts. That's why we have been safe the past 5 years. And so on and so forth.

You may be right, but the video starts out with "oil" and "Halliburton" so it's easy to make a mistake. Still watching...

I thought it was a great depicyion of exactly what I've been arguing to my acquaintances for 3 years. I wish W could go multi-media and show something like this when stating his case. Great find. Great link.

Actually credits Stratfor.com for basis of analysis at the end. Stratfor is a very much so neutral provider of intelligence analysis (premium read). I've been reading them for years, before they actually appeared on the national radar. It's the best news I get, ever. Worth every penny, especially once you realized that you don't get anything resembling reality from regular news outlets.

See, this just proves what I suspected, some freepers (no disrespect to most of you) don't bother to read links or even do a cursory visit before casting hasty judgement or comments.

So, apparently, you mean to disrespect those who do? It's my prerogative to read as far as I want, check your registration date, and take my chances.

Time is valuable. But I'll live if I miss the video and have you "disrespect me."

Instead being a ready victim of insensitive FReepers, why don't you consider the value of the other guy's time next time you post something with an ambiguous title (obviously more than one person came to that conclusion) to clarify it for your fellow FReeper?
