Angelides is simply too extreme in his political views, too lacking in his personal appeal and too repugnant in his style to be elected governor of any state, even Massachusetts.

This was never a contested race. Angelides loomed on the horizon soon after the recall election destroyed Davis and Bustamante in the CaDEM. That's why the CaGOP Central Committees raced to ban their gubernatorial primary.

This site was linked from Weintraub's weblog. It is kind of cool. If you don't know where the candidates stand on your favorite issues, take a quiz based on about 5 questions and it will tell you which candidate most closely resembles your priorities. The site is So Cal Public Radio (scpr.org). Weintraub warned that the quiz had not been "dumbed down."

I don't know what the max # of points a candidate could get, but these were my results.

Art Olivier 11.0
Arnold Schwarzenegger 3.0
Phil Angelides 0.0
Peter Miguel Camejo 0.0
Janice Jordan 0.0
