The article said it was epicentered about 575 kilometers Northeast of Port Moresby which places it farther from Australia. I hope the damage is minimal and the death toll is nil. Semi-off-topic, there's an archipelago for sale in PNG called The Conflict Islands (named after a British ship I believe)and it comprises 23 islands encompassing over 900 acres. If someone wanted to buy it for me as a Christmas gift...
