Guantanamo suicide investigation may have made surprise finding

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico An investigation into three apparent suicides at the U-S prison at Guantanamo Bay may have uncovered a broader plot.

According to court papers, a search of other detainees' cells after the three were found hanged turned up instructions on tying knots, along with several relevant notes in Arabic. The detention center's commander said in an affidavit investigators believe "the suicides may have been part of a larger plan or pact for more suicides that day or in the immediate future."

Authorities say they confiscated personal papers from nearly all 450 prisoners at Guantanamo Bay. The government wants a judge to appoint a special review panel to review all the documents, including letters from attorneys. But lawyers for the detainees condemn the confiscation of the legal papers as a violation of attorney-client privilege and want them returned.

Isn't it rather obvious that these towelheads will strap bombs on themselves to destroy America, and likewise would commit suicide at the end of a rope, knowing the Appeasment Crowd (aka, Democrats), and the Cut and Run Crowd (aka, Democrats) AND the MSM (aka, Democrats) will trumpet the Bush's Fault mantra, furthering sympathy from the American public?

Does anyone NOT know that the terrorists are trying to influence the outcome of the U.S. elections, trying to get cut-and-run Democrats elected to further their (terrorism) chances of success?

Man, oh man, if every Muzzie killed themselves, I might change my opinion of them.

Only if they only kill themselves.

This is interesting. They are big into "martyrdom by suicide" anyway. And the negative political impact to the US by one detainees suicide is far greater than the damage done by one suicide bomber in Baghdad.

On a side note, it is only martyrdom if someone else kills you.

It's interesting that they want to examine lawyers' documents. There have been rumors that lawyers have knowingly served as the mules for communications between the detainees, in the form of documents protected under the attorney-client privilege.

Since we must be sensitive to the slightest unhappiness in the imprisoned terrorists mind I say we build gallows for them to play on. They will be happy and I will be happy.

Hey guys, just to let you all know... I wouldn't mind terribly if this investigation proceeded at the pace of, say, an investigation into a corrupt politician... if you know what I mean, nudge nudge wink wink.

I'll gladly supply over 600 feet of high grade Liberty Mountain Dynamic Python Dry Rope..

Will ship post paid to GITMO in a plain brown wrap, if the FEDS promise to deliver about 20 feet to each "detainee" at GITMO.

The detainees can consider it as my Ramadan present...

To me the suicides at Gitmo remind me a lot of the Dems October surprise. Anything to win. They really have a lot in common, The Dems and the Islamics.
