The three major party candidates for Connecticut's U.S. Senate seat, Democrats Ned Lamont and Sen. Joseph Lieberman and Republcian Alan Schlesinger, meet in the first debate since the Democratic primary.

A local panel of television and print reporters moderated by CBS newsman Bob Schieffer put the questions to the candidates in the debate held at the Stamford Marriott.

Ooops, should have put the Republican, Schlesigner, in the title as well, was in a hurry to get thread up when I saw it on the schedule.

So far I kind of like Schlesinger.

I don't get a vote, I live in Ohio.
