Yeah, most consumers definitely worry about price more than quality. I personally don't mind paying a little more if there's good reason to: for example, I wouldn't buy a TV from Wal-Mart.

Actually there is nothing wrong with buying TVs or any other form of home entertainment from Wal-Mart. I have done so and will continue to. They carry the same brands and anyone else, just usually a later model of the product. They are able to buy these in bulk, with a large discount, which they pass on to us. I have heard many people complain about things breaking when they got them from Wal-Mart. The problem is that they throw it off as being a cheap product, when they could have gotten a lemon from any store.

Wouldn't buy a TV from Walmart? They pretty much carry the same brands most folks do. Would it make you feel better paying more to buy the exact same TV from another retailer?

90% of the stuff you get in Walmart is the same as it is everywhere else.
