The arrogance of George Soros is all of an elegant and polished type. He has even contrived to set down his epistemology for all to read. This is the supreme arrogance. He purports to know how we know what is real and not real. The Gospel according to Soros. But to establish his credentials he did not rise again on the third day, he just made a lot of money.

A self-made man of normal dimensions of vanity would content himself with boring us all with accounts of how he did it. Soros' conceit swells beyond mere vanity, he is not content with blowing hard about how he made his money, he wants to tell you how to think, and what to believe, and above all, to tell you what is really real. He knows how others deceive themselves but he has the true insight into reality. His pendulum theory of investments and markets is a symptom of this solipsism. His book is turgid beyond description and self-indulgent beyond endurance. But it must be so if he is to make a universe out of clay.

So Soros must play God, the oldest and basest sin of all. Hitler, Stalin, and Mao all played God and, interestingly, they all had their own epistemologies. Hitler had his myth of the Aryan superiority. Stalin his cult of the individual. And Mao is infallible wisdom. The historical examples are endless. The point is that not all these villains justified their power lusts on power alone-rather they all created their own worldview.

Ultimately, these epistemologies all come around to the man who would be king. Ann Coulter has identified it, they think they are gods. Hitler chewed the carpets, Stalin murdered out of paranoia, and Mao did little girls. These grotesqueries are far beneath Soros who would probably never even wittingly split an infinitive but he is compelled just as the others to play the highest stakes game of all in the temporal world. And therein lies his danger.

Here is a bit of trivia for you.....the movie called,
"7 Days in May"; is based on a true story that took place in 1933. The actual Marine Corp General was Major Smedley Butler. He actually blew the whistle on the plot, to take out FDR. The investigation and Commission was swept under the carpet.

Now, here comes a zinger...President Kennedy in 1963 figured out that we had supported Castro in 1957, then turned around and set up the Bay of Pigs to provoke the Soviet Union. He had completed a Press Conference where he was quoted indicating this very thing. However, three weeks before it was to be aired...he was assassinted.

I just found this description of the Movie and found the last paragraph quite interesting......now, that we know the plot was true. I just placed these two together after I researched some information that the "7 Days in May" was a movie about this plot. Few if any Americans know this........amazing.

Edmond O'Brien was nominated for a Best Supporting Actor Oscar but Peter Ustinov won for Topkapi. The movie was remade for cable in 1994 and was called The Enemy Within.

Some critics have suggested that the movie is dated and the plot driven by the hysteria of the times. The word "hysteria" suggests an uncontrollable and maybe even irrational fear of nuclear war. There was nothing irrational about the fear to anyone who lived through those times when backyard bomb shelters were being sold on street corners and school children were taught to "duck and cover". In fact, the fear was much more real and immediate than the things people are afraid of today. Today's fears are promulgated by many different groups whose very existence depends on donations from the public. Take, for example, global warming. Earth has been a relatively warm, ice-free planet for 95% of its existence. There were no glaciers or polar ice caps. The present warm up is probably just a mild, natural occurring fluctuation not unlike the previous small warming trend which began about 1870 and ended about 1940. Many of the same end-of-the-worlders who are worried about global warming were predicting a new and severe ice age back in the 1970's. Also, the hole in the ozone layer is probably another naturally occurring phenomenon caused by changes in solar activity and not by us spraying cans of hair spray into the air. The fears today are much more "hysterical" than they were back in the early 1960's when this movie was made.

There have been reports that I can't confirm that President Kennedy wanted this movie made so badly that he allowed filming in the White House. These same reports claim that he feared a military overthrow of the United States Government. I don't know if this is true or merely hype or urban legend. In any case, he didn't live to see the movie completed.

John L. Spivak, a reporter assigned to cover the committee hearings, calls the story "one of the most fantastic plots in Amer¬ican history. . . .
