The aftershocks are the worst part. They totally mess with your head. Of course the helpful newspeople will continually remind them that this could actually have been a "preshock" with a larger one coming.
I had to unplug my TV after the Loma Prieta quake. And self medicate.

With a quake this big I bet the aftershocks will continue for a while.
Very frightening for anyone.
