Son just called. Does anyone know anything?
On phone with parents in Maui, I'm telling them to move inland. They are on vacation...
Nothing showing yet for the last hr...it takes a little while though to show up:

Hawaii is in the Pacific Ocean, I think.
They say the power is out where they are at, and it was the worst quake my dad was in.
Looks like there has been something, but when you click on the Hawaii map thumbnail, the bigger map it brings up has nothing recent.

6.5 on the West of Hawaii. No tsunami for the US West Coast. I don't know about near Hawaii.

It's showing now! Several 4.5 or lower on the western coast of Hawaii (big island).
"In any right triangle, the area of the square whose side is the hypotenuse (the side of a right triangle opposite the right angle) is equal to the sum of areas of the squares whose sides are the two legs (i.e. the two sides other than the hypotenuse)."
(did he say how big it felt? Also, if he felt it there is probably little Tsunami danger)
4.9
I see it now, 4+ 20 miles Sw of Waimea.
Fox just had this on a news alert.
