Bumped his head walking his dog late at night in a park?
Sounds like something else was happening in the park, and his arms gave out, causing a pavement rash on his forehead. Forensics should look at his knees as well...

This is eerie. I do not remember much being made of this at the time.
Funny how the memory goes....
A 17 year old page? And he actually had sex with him?
And then didn't resign?
I'm finding this all hard to believe.

Well, it's going to be awfully interesting to see how the dems cover his death. Will they memorialize him?? Afterall he was in congress forEVER, inspite of his perversions!! hmmmm.
ps. If I hear anymore crap about GOP "image" problems, I'll scream!

Studds, a liberal Democrat who spent more than 20 years in Congress, was censured by the House in the 1980s for having sex with a 17-year-old male page. He was re-elected for several more terms.Bears repeating.

He will no doubt be dealing with the consequences of his earthly desires.
I wish he could rest in peace, but from my philosophical stand point, he is not.
Any good that he did in his life will forever be overshadowed by his lust for the flesh of men.
So shall he reap what he soweth.
So sad.

Yeah ... too much of that probably allowed AIDS into his tormented life. Of course they don't want to disclose THAT.
Bet ya a cyber dollar, AIDS conquered him.

can't wait to see and hear the eulogizing about this guy.

Let me get this straight, Studds is glorified and honored by the MSM for actually having sex with a teenage page and was married to a "man" in Massachusetts while Foley is vilified for having perverted conversations to a former male page through IM who was actually 18 during the contacts and never did have sex with him? No media bias here that I can see. (sarc)

"BOSTON, Massachusetts (AP) -- Former U.S. Rep. Gerry Studds, the first openly gay person elected to Congress, died early Saturday at Boston Medical Center, several days after he collapsed while walking his dog, his husband said."
Does this mean his husband gets his retirement pay from all of us for the rest of his life?

In 2002 a 65-year-old male white could expect to live, on average, 18 more years. Gays, however, could expect, on average, ZERO to 8 more years. Studds lived only for only half of the expectation, falling in the middle of the expected range for gay white men.
I guess he was the mean of the expectation.
