It's no secret that he media is pro-democrat. But during live press conferences, republicans could atleast throw in the information about Reid, Sandy Berger...etc.

Months ago Rush Limbaugh said that he hopes it's not true but it appears that the white house totally depends on his show and others on Talk Radio to get out their message rather than have their own attack machine. Rush said, if true, it's a big mistake on their part.

My response to the Foley thing is pretty brief:

When the news came out about Foley no Republican supported Foley and Foley resigned immediately. Unlike what the Democrats did when a president abused an intern in the oval office and assaulted other women. Unlike what the Democrats did when a queer member of Congress had sex for hire running out of his house. Unlike what the Democrats did when a Senator and former KKK member said the word "ni**er" on national TV. Unlike what the Democrats did after a drunken US Senator left a woman to drown to death after he ran his car off a bridge.

The Republicans have never said that they have better "values" than the Democrats They don't have to. It's as obvious as the roaring silence you hear from millions of humans that have been aborted.

Sure, the Republicans are not perfect. But would any thinking American want the Democrats to protect this country in time of war when the Democrats will stand by silently or even support sexual abusers, queers, racists, drunks and murders in their own party?

In retaliation Hillary! and Co. swiftboats McCain ...

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1719306/posts

Privately, Hillary’s camp was not overly upset by the McCain swipe because it suspected he was doing the bidding of the White House and that he ended up, as one adviser put it, “looking similar to the way he did on those captive tapes from Hanoi, where he recited the names of his crew mates.”

Well I wholeheartedly agree, but let's not forget the fact the Republicans have TWO enemies to fight back against: The Democrats and the Drve By Media. In that regard, if the DBM decided simply to not air Republican grievences or statements it would appear that the Republicans aren't fighting back.

That is in fact happening.

We members of the New Media, of which Free Republic is part, need to hold bothe the democrats and DBM accountable.

The DBM says there is no bias. OK. Then right now is a good time to then ask them, if so, are they going to report at length about the current Democrat Minorty Leader of the Senate Harry Reid's direct ethics violations (after all, he even ADMITTED he was wrong by offering to pay a fine!) as much as they have about Mark Foley, who resigned more than two weeks ago?

One of the scariest things that has happened in my lifetime is that Kerry came as close as he did to being President of the United States. That a fruitcake like Kerry was even in contention is like the monster jumping out of the closet.

The whole country should have shuddered in fear, should have been awakened to the real world.

During the Clinton years the republicans showed what they are made of, and the whole lot of them should have been replaced with men and women of integrity and backbone.

The true traitors are the republicans who give it away, fearful of defeat, their personal advancement their highest cause.

The demorats are slime but they are true to their nature. They are mud dwellers who are proud to have Barney Frank, Ted Kennedy and the Clintons at the head of their parade.

The democrats need a bath. The republicans need a spine; both the voted in and those who do the voting.

Or, maybe I'm wrong.

Maybe all of us are mud dwellers. Maybe there are some who have higher aspirations but basically still live in the muck, building little mud castles of virtue and honor and nobility but unevolved enough to put into practice what they hear in their hearts.

It has been said that you shall know them by their fruits, and we do, but we are lacking in the faith and courage to act on what we know.

Rush had a nice piece yesterday on trusting yourself to be and do who you are instead of living under the weight of others' opinions.

This is the greatest sin of the republican/conservatives; trying to appear nice rather than striving to be good.
