Yes it was a beauty of a storm.
I have another battle scar, I was hit with a tree limb just to the side of my left eye. Good gash looks like I just came out of a boxing ring.

A friend was pulling on a branch and let it go so I was hit with it blindsided, I had no idea it was coming. If I went to the hospital it would have been stitched with 10 or 12 stitches.

Being the old Army trooper and fixer of my own wounds I am doing fine.. Stopped the bleeding within 5 minutes and applied a huge bandaid with cream. Looks good but it's swollen and I'll havea black eye...

That's awful, a freak storm caused a freak accident.

I saw a segment on the local politics's in the Buffalo area on TV yesterday when I was doing some ironing. Think it was on CNBC but it could have been on FOX, didn't catch the whole story just sounded like everything was in an upheaval. Sorry I don't have more details.
