Why do I care if we have Republicans in office? They are not with a damn.
Well, it is better to leave the Republicans in office than to have the dims in control. They will definitely hamstring the President with legal matters, testimony & Congressional inquires for the next 2 years. The White House will become tied down with that crap rather than making hard decisions on our national security.
It seems that it's all a smoke-n-mirror game and we are the putz or gimps in this game.
