San Francisco public officials and leaders of the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community are demanding that a prominent radio host and television news anchor apologize for comments he made on the air about nontraditional families.

Pete Wilson, the anchor of ABC's local evening news and host of a radio show on KGO 810 AM, criticized Supervisor Bevan Dufty and his friend Rebecca Goldfader, who are sharing a home and co-parenting a newborn, during a radio broadcast Tuesday.

You've got a point there. At least the kids have exposure to the thought processes of both genders. Though it will get real confusing at adolescence, when they realize the physical parts are switched.

I can see the sex-ed book now. Instead of "I've got two mommies", we'll get "Mommy wears the pants."

Seriously though, the problem with gays raising kids is that the kids are much more likely to be needlessly promiscuous because of the kids' fear that the gayness has somehow rubbed off on them. Thus they embrace promiscuity to prove they are not gay.

This would not be a problem if there were not at least a dozen venereal diseases you could get from having random sex before marriage.
