That plane going into that tower yesterday was 10 times the electoral impact of "Foleygate."

GOP is now down 9 in the generic ballot. Down 11 two weeks ago. Look for the numbers to continue to close. If we're down 5 or less by election day, we keep both Houses of Congress.

But, polling people for a generic Democrat running against a generic Republican is just plain ridiculous.
Foley, a gay exDem who switched parties because he couldn't win in a conservative district, has quit -- and if he hadn't quit, he would have been booted out. Foley shouldn't effect anyone's vote...
That'd put us ahead of the Dems by 1%.
Where's that Rogers guy and his little list when you really need him anyway.
I am so very tired of polls period and am looking forward to the one that is taken on Nov 7th. That's the only one that matters.

Either Republican support has strengthened, or erstwhile gay supporters attacking gays on an ideological basis has created dissonance in the Democrat base. Either way, it was a flop.

Someone had the great tag (that I stole for awhile) that "polls are proof that when MSM wants your opinion, they'll give it you".
Seems pretty accurate to me.
Actually, I think this is a no-brainer. But what I DO worry about is marginal Republican voters staying home thinking it's not worth the effort. I wonder if weather could make a difference this year. I don't think it would in a presidential election year, or if the choices were clear. Yes, they're VERY clear to me and FRers, but to a lot of people, this is just muddying the waters. I hope that we pull this one out!

I see YouTube has found it fit to remove the AP video regarding Dirty Harry's land transaction because of copyright infringement... Every video on there is a copyright infringement.
But of course, that paticular video was against a DemocRAT...
We do have to worry about marginal GOP voters staying home, but the Democrats have to worry about the independents who currently favor them in the polls being so turned off that they stay home too.
