Lawmakers React To Dysfunctional Label

Buffalo, NY (WBEN) - The organization that once called New Yorks legislature the countrys most dysfunctional issued a new report saying not much has improved. There are mixed feelings about the report from the Brennan Center for Justice at New Yorks University School of Law.
State Senator Dale Volker tells NewsRadio 930 WBEN the report comes from the phoniest groups I have ever seen. He says its politically timed balderdash put out by special interests.
Rus Thompson, running for Assembly, says its just the opposite. He says its still three men in a room operating the state. He believes getting rid of incumbents and that power structure in Albany is the only way to change that dysfunction.
The sound bytes have been playing all afternoon and this evening on WBEN radio. Click here to hear it..
