When the British partitioned 'Palestine' around 1948, it was a 'Take-and-hold-the-land' situation for Israel, so they did just that.

Not exactly.

This was the British Mandate

The British partition was an immediate betrayal of the Jews and British promises. The took the Western two thirds and imported the Hashemites from Arabia- giving Arabia to the Saudis- and created the Arab country of TransJorden (Now Jordan).

Then they attempted to not even give the Jews the remaining one third. The took the issue to the UN as the Jews were forcing them out.

Fully agreed, and I always thought that 1922 map was odd.

When the Brits dumped the 'Palestine' problem on the UN, Israel just took as much land as they thought was owed to them, including, hopefully, the land area on that 1922 map.

I guess I'm just tired of hearing the muzzies wail about being 'occupied'. They lost any claim to the land when Israel won, and they should get over it, become productive citizens, and grow oranges or something, or go live somewhere else!

(/rant) Stay safe and well, Sabramerican.............FRegards
