I wouldn't mind being known as Euclid, the father of geometry, except for being hated by generations of high school students. But I am ElCid1970, graduate of The Citadel that year. The Zorrolike mystery must continue for now......
Anyway, how do four of us FReepers hold eleven moonbats at bay? Flib, you bring out the real twilight moonbeamers! "I grant you peace!" says one. The soft core fascism: "I am asking you to move!" What a hoot! Not a socialist, anarchist, or theoretical Marxist in the lot, prepared to advance the struggle of the urban proletariat for control of the means of production. No waved dogeared copies of Lenin's "Imperialism: The Highest Stage of Capitalism". Not even a Che Guevara T-shirt. Disappointing.
Yeah, I studied at USC's Department of Government and International Studies. They nearly succeeded.
Looking forward to the next First Wednesday. Best to your brave husband. If so privileged I will join him in Iraq.
;^)
OOps! Sorry on the name. I thought it looked funny at the time. Now I know why. Citadel, huh? Impressive. A couple years ago I went to Charleston to hear the president speak. Students from the Citadel were helping out with the crowd. I have never seen nicer, more polite, and well mannered young men. I decided that day that I wanted my young son to join their ranks. He's only in third grade now, so I think I have time to work on that.
