Say it again ... loudly.
The dems are intent on funding "first responders" - people who bravely rescue others in peril without regard for their own safety. They come in after a disaster. The Bush WOT in Iraq is aggregating the bad guys - over there - so they cannot hit us here.
That seems like the smart approach.
The war on terror has brought many of our enemies out in the open and concentrated their actions far away form America.
What it has really shown is that the terrorists know that taking aggressive action against terrorists and those that support them cannot be seen as a successful strategy, or they risk seeing appeasement being replaced with vengeance.
They know that the war in Iraq is crucial to their cause. It's democrats and the media that are denying that fact even as the terrorist rally their supporters and make it clear that they consider the war in Iraq to be central to their cause.
I've heard it attributed to Rummy as the "Roach Motel" strategy. Is that really his idea?
