Closeted Homosexual Republicans Target of Blog-Activist

(CNSNews.com) - Homosexual activist Mike Rogers said he will reveal the identities of homosexual Republicans on Capitol Hill each day "for hypocritically opposing gay rights for political reasons when they themselves are gay."

But according to Rogers, who runs a web log called BlogActive.com, he's "reporting on hypocrisy," not "outing them."

"The right wing of this country is so out of control beating up gay people," Rogers told Cybercast News Service on Tuesday.

Rogers named two congressional staffers who he believes had "a vested interest in protecting closeted men like former Republican Congressman Mark Foley so the majority can remain in power." One of those staffers left Capitol Hill earlier this year.

Rogers also blamed the Republican Party for pushing the Federal Marriage Amendment and the military's "Don't Ask Don't Tell" policy.

"It's [because of] those kinds of things that it's time to say 'enough, it's over,'" Rogers said. "Those who equate being gay with immorality will be surprised just how diverse the House Republican Caucus is when it comes to sexual orientation.

"The party is over for these guys who think they can be gay and beat up gay people, and there are a lot of them in the Republican Party," Rogers added.

But the Log Cabin Republicans, the group that represents homosexual Republicans, indicate that they oppose the so-called practice of "outing."

"I am unaware of a single forced outing that led to passage of one piece of pro-gay legislation," Patrick Sammon, executive vice president of the Log Cabin Republicans, said in a statement. "Coming out on your own terms with courage is a positive catalyst for change.

"Forced outings don't advance our movement, because they're motivated by vengeance and they distract us from what's really important. Those who are trying to out gay Republicans should be ashamed," Sammon added.

You continue to ignore the logic and resort to rantings of a leftist.

The fact is there there is a apparently a network of people whe were covering not only Foley but others in Capitol Hill who choose the same lifestyle.

You going into my personal life only points out the hypocracy of your arguments. There is a right and there is a wrong. Wrong must be address where ever and whenever it appears.

Yes Foley is gone. However the problem that created him continues. Call it the culture war, call it political correctness, whatever it is called we are in a war over how we live.

The "it takes a village" crowd want to so control society that you have nothing in private.

Conservatives know enough that the word "homophobe" is a red herring made up word created by homosexuals to attack those who oppose normalizing homoseuality. I doubt very much any conservative ever would throw that word around as you do.

have a nice day

Have a GREAT day LibertyisSpecial MINDING your OWN business while Joe Doe is sleeping in the house next to yours with sheep, men, women or little children, it doesn't matter. I'm looking for a neighborhood with shared values, where the kids can go over and not be overconcerned they will come home with some sexually transmitted disease.

I'm not ashamed of anything I do. I live with large glass windows in my house, many neighbors have keys, and nothing under my bed, or in hidden files would make me blush. If you've got something to hide.... then you better keep in your closet. I'm PROUD.

First you claim what people do in private should be put on "the front pages of America".

NOW you say hide it in the "closet".

You seem a bit confused.

Furthermore the Bible says any man who claims to have no sin is liar who's deceives himself.

Jesus saved His strongest condemnations for the Pharisees who actually considered themselves "good" and looked down on "others" as sinners.

So if you're gay you can't be against tax cuts?

You nailed it.

The left are only interested in victims. It's inconceivable to them that a gay person might care more about the world around them, than their own sex life.

Same thing with the left in Eurabia, who will fight tooth and nail for the rights of suicide bombing radical islamists, but shun muslims who wish to integrate into western society.

You missed the point, it wasn't about you saying whatever but your claim that most conservatives on here share your views.

The second foley move his sexual cultivation efforts onto minors he ceased to keep his activity only in the bedroom. The second the Miami Herald kept his secret from the public in order to protect their access to him (ie blackmail) that became a public issue.

You assume all opposition is mere religion with your wild accusations.

He also ceased to keep it in the bedroom when, assuming reports are correct, foley made his office a roundevous point for the clossetted homosexuals.

The can not be won if we allow those who have sex fetish compulsions to compromise our security. Consider if a newspaper can blackmail a representative for mere "access" how do you or I know he was not made to reveal information otherwise? How much press leaks came from Foley's office?

Keeping in the bedroom is keeping in the bedroom. Foley failed on all counts as an elected Representative.
