This morning President Bush met in the Oval Office with the leadership of the Southern Baptist Convention, and later went to the Rose Garden for an informative press conference about the economy, North Korea and Iraq. This afternoon the President went to the Eisenhower Executive Office Building on the White House complex to speak specifically about the budget and the booming economy. You can read all of his remarks HERE.
First Lady Laura Bush was in Cincinnati to campaign for Representative Steve Chabot where she also visited the Children's Museum and a special exhibit on 9/11 created by elementary school children.

I saw President Bush's speech today, and he did hit it way out of the park. I have heard many of his speeches, but I don't think I have ever heard him as strong as he was today. When he turned and walked away from the podium, all I could think of was John Wayne. Thanks for the Pictures, and welcome back. I sleep better knowing President Bush is in charge !
Thanks for the post and great pictures! The President did a great job today with the press. I loved his response to their complaints about him using the term "cut and run" It really drives them crazy!
