Lidle pitched for the A's awhile back, if I'm not mistaken. Prayers for his family, he will be missed
My husband and I are die hard Yankee fans, (yes, even if our pitching stunk this year). If anyone can actually clarify whether or not Lidle was among the dead we would appreciate it. I have checked out the various news sites and also the radio, but everyone has a different story.

Law enforcement officials, speaking on condition of anonymity, said Lidle's passport was found on the street.Planes should start being fabricated out of passport paper.
Somehow paper passports miraculously survive every conflagration and land neatly on the ground near the crash scene.

This is probably a dumb question, but why would he have his passport on him? I thought you had a passport, on your person, when you left the country?
To: Not just another dumb blonde
Some people carry passports instead of state ID since it is just as valid (for ID) and it does not have your home address on it. I know a handful of people who do this.
