Houston is ... one of the cities over which jets (F-2's) have been issued.

F-2?  What kind of jet is an F-2? 

The Japanese (Mitsubishi) built version of the F-16 used by the Japanese airforce is called the F-2.  Are "Jap" fighter planes finally getting to fly over American cities?
