WASHINGTON - Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid collected a $1.1 million windfall on a Las Vegas land sale even though he hadn't personally owned the property for three years, property deeds show.

In the process, Reid did not disclose to Congress an earlier sale in which he transferred his land to a company created by a friend and took a financial stake in that company, according to records and interviews.
The Nevada Democrat's deal was engineered by Jay Brown, a longtime friend and former casino lawyer whose name surfaced in a major political bribery trial this summer and in other prior organized crime investigations. He's never been charged with wrongdoing — except for a 1981 federal securities complaint that was settled out of court.

Trust me on this...the "mainstream" media won't make a peep about this.
As far as Foleygate, here in Columbus the opponent to Rep. Pryce is now running radio ads trying to put the Foley blame on Pryce and Hastert. I hope they keep running them 24/7 as the Dems don't realize that they are once again overplaying their hand.
They are all scared to death of bubba and the beast.
They will be tripping over interns and pageboys to get out of the way of the beast.

If Drudge has it then it is out in the public eye. With Rush talking about it as well the genie is out of the bottle. That makes for at least 30 million people hearing about it. The blogs will have it and expect to see some republican attack dogs making hay out of this.

He may have a very big problem. If he was off the deed, he was obligated to report a sale of the asset on his tax return. When he got the million bucks, do you suppose he might have filed a tax return claiming capital gains treatment? This could be big time tax fraud for him.
They need to force the MSM to focus on it.
