Some San Antonio residents are taking part in a march Thursday to oppose the lack of rights for undocumented immigrants.
The Dia de la Raza march is being hosted by League of United Latin American Citizens and other organizations, and is meant to coincide with Spanish Heritage Month.
The groups involved say they want to remind people about the plight of undocumented immigrants.
Sure, they have rights. Miranda rights.
Lack of rights? They're kidding, right?
They have all the rights available to citizens of whatever country they are from.
They aren't citizens of this country.
If they would like to be, there is a process they can follow.
Bypassing that process is evidence of bad faith on their part.
Imagine if the Anglos in San Antonio had a public celebration of their Day of the Race. I can just imagine the Ku Klux Klan comparisons that the media would rush to print and broadcast.
Why would somebody who is in this country illegaly? They're not ambassadors of the country they came from, they don't have papers, they're not seeking political asylum. Why should they have rights? They're not like somebody who took the time to obtain a passport/visa and come here legally, or like somebody who bothered to get naturalized. Nevermind the people that were born here and have roots dating back to the Founding Fathers. As far as I'm concerned, they shouldn't be killed, but rather be deported back over the border where they came from. If they're not going to do it legally, we shouldn't let them do it at all.
That's just my $.02.
ping
"I'm here illegally, and I want my rights!"
Why are all these indians celebrating the coming of the conquistadores?
Someone here suggested deporting illegals from Mexico to other parts of the world, just to make a point. That would be expensive, yet effective. They couldn't just waltz back across the border from, say, Somalia.
Nero took in so many slaves they burned his frigging city down and raped and killed all his citizens.
History has a way of repeating itself.
These undocumented "workers" are really
undocumented disease bags who wish
to kill you and take all your stuff.
This is typical "give an inch, take over a country" behavior. Who will rise and stand for the disaffected and pissed off to rally around? Who will lead the charge to take our country back? El Horge Airbusto? No. McLame? Hell no. Frist? No. Sensenbrenner? Yes, but unelectable. Warner? Gingrich......Maybe.
Move 'em on, head 'em up,
Head 'em up, move 'em out,
Move 'em on, head 'em out Rawhide!
Set 'em out, ride 'em in
Ride 'em in, let 'em out,
Cut 'em out, ride 'em in Rawhide.
Hmmm "Dia de la Raza" means "Day of the Latino Race."
Can you imagine the firestorm if white people organized a march called "Day of the Master Race."?
LOL. Not a bad idea considering some of those that are deported tell the border patrol agents they're from "Mexico" when they might actually be from Guatemala or El Salvador. They just don't want as long of a return trip when they cross again.
Arrest all the marchers, and release all who can prove legal status. Ship the rest to Tierra del fuego (it's a longer walk back from there).
I just read an article stating that Spain needs about 20 million more immigrants.
Let's send them our illegals, and they won't have to deal with any more Muslim immigrants.
Win/win.
The only rights they should have is the right to get their ass shipped home on the next plane out.
Have a Happy Columbus Day!
¡A pesar de los bastardos!
