N Korea raises threat of new test
BBC News ^ | 10/11/2006

North Korea's second most powerful leader has said that whether further nuclear tests are carried out depends on US policy, Japanese media report. Kim Yong-nam said the decision depended on how the US treated North Korea, Japan's Kyodo news agency said.

He said US policy was also the main factor in determining whether to return to stalled six-party talks.

The comments were the first from a senior North Korean official since the country's claimed nuclear test.

Can't we just figure out where Kim and his top brass live and send in cruise missiles? Why don't we take out all his favorite palaces, parks, zoos, and movie theaters while we're at it. We could just say we decided to test our missiles...on him.

No kidding. 20 million people in range of his artillery and nukes. He's got us (or more precisely South Korea) by the balls. I'm guessing that we could probably take out his artillery with a couple of tactical nukes, but it would be difficult to be completely sure that we couldn't stop one of his nuclear bombs. Japan is in a better situation, but they are within range of his chemical or biological WMDs.

I wish I had a suggestion on what to do, but I've been scratching my head for years. I hope there are people who are a lot smarter than me who have figured out something better.

On top of it all, once the flood gates open you'll have the entire population (that can still walk that far without dropping dead) cross borders in all directions as refugees. Millions upon millions of starving, ravenous, brainwashed communists who have been trained since birth that everyone outside of N.Korea is the enemy.

China and S. Korea doesn't want them and neither does anyone else. It would be a humanitarian crisis of unbelievable magnitude and China won't have it especially while they are preparing for the Olympics.

As a matter of fact, I wouldn't be surprised if Kim-illin' doesn't use this as a blackmail tactic before too long if he doesn't get his way with his nuke fiasco.

Well, at least their international strategy is consistent: "Feed us, or we'll behave even more badly!"

Somebody besides us will start something... we will finish it. I see no other path. I do not know how long this will take... look how long it has already been going on.

Someone needs to remind this little four-eyed, Chia-haired oompa-loompa that in Guam, we have a couple of squadrons of stealth bombers that are capable of removing his country from the planet in about ten minutes.

I suggest we write them a "strongly worded" letter of admonishment. Ask the UN to meet and discuss this and send Kim and autograph basketball of Michael Jordan.

Where's my NOBEL PRIZE?

North Korea is probably the only place on earth where a nuclear blast would improve the living conditions...

Well when Clinton gave in to the child after probably saying no a few dozen times it just reinforced the notion with the child that if hey argues long enough, and throws enough stuff, we'll give in and give him a lolli. Bush is determined to try and be nanny 9-11.

Japan has announced that they've banned all imports from North Korea and will block entry to any NK ships from their ports.

Not really. True he can attack Seoul, but what he can do is limited compared to one of our nuke subs will do to him!

Actually we are taking out his booze, putting a stop to his imports there, which is going to drive him into fits. This guy buys over half a million bucks in booze a year. They had an article on it yesterday in the NY Post, one meeting he sucked back 14 glasses of wine in one sitting. I think we should send over Ted Kennedy, have him drink with Kim until Kims liver explodes.

Yeah.
And we won't do anything about it this time either.
North Korea has nuke capability only because we allowed them to.
The sickening thing is that for the past six years, we've had Republican leadership.
