Is there ever a good time to have a Democrat in power?

Glad we could entice you away from your keyboard to address the troops. Excellent line. Sums it up pretty darn good.

I hope every Republican, conservative, moderate, whatever, gets out there and votes. Even if your particular critter is a 100% safe seat. Send a message to the dems that we don't want them and their anger and their smear tactic and their love of the terrorists over their own military. Give them a big, big shout out...WE DON'T WANT WHAT YOU ARE SELLING!

Even the Russians and the ChiComs voted in the UN to shorten the leash on N Kor. The Ds, not all but some, would probably be showing positions to the left of the Chicoms, which might be a clue to just how radical some of the Ds have become. No, they don't need to be calling the shots anytime soon.

I agree. As much as I'm righteously pissed about the republican's being so blase about expanding the already bloated federal government, we are far more likely to survive that than the dems trying to actually handle a loon like Ahmadinejad or Kim Jung Il. After we have spanked those two SOBs, we can clean the nanny-staters out of the GOP (and believe me, when the time comes, I'm going to railroad as many RINOs, authoritarians, and nanny-staters out of the GOP as I can find. It will be an inquisition for liberal republicans, but only in due time). If we don't deal with our enemies, there won't be any America or GOP to clean out anyway.

I agree with YOU, JR...but, I have had posters tell ME that Bush doesn't have the "balls"...
I have said that au contraire, Bush does....but he would have to pronounce this problem an imminent threat.
Thanks for the thread, JR....even we freepers need a kick in the butt sometimes!!

I still have faith in the voters and even though I have a low opinion of some of our senate members, alleged republicans, I will vote. I am a poll judge and will be at the polls for 14 hours, I hope our loyal republicans take the time to preserve our freedom and vote. We can not afford the unthinkable a Pelosi/Reid congress.

I find the leadup to this election more depressing and disheartening than any in memory. The constant barrage of the media and the Dimmies is beyond contempt.
That being said, there is no way in hell I sit this election out. I fear we're in big trouble should the Dimmies take control.

To: Jim Robinson
I was really thinking of sitting this election out, for the first time since I first voted in 1968. Especially since I live in a rock solid Democrat area. However, with this development I will go and cast my vote for the GOP once again, if for nothing else than to be counted.
The Democrats will not protect the Republic and despite the faults I find with GW and the current GOP leadership, the choice is more than obvious.
