Reid: Investigate Bush Over North Korea Nukes
CNSNews ^ | October 09, 2006 | Nathan Burchfiel

(CNSNews.com) - Reacting to the announcement that North Korea successfully conducted a nuclear test, Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) called Monday for an investigation of the Bush administration's "failed North Korea policies."

In a release, Reid said that "on the Bush Administration's watch, North Korea's arsenal has grown to as many as a dozen bombs," because he said Bush is "distracted by Iraq and paralyzed by internal divisions."

Calling the test "reckless and counterproductive," Reid called on Bush to "rally the international community and ... directly speak with the North Koreans so they understand we will not continue to stand on the sidelines."

Reid also called for a "full review" of the Bush administration's "failed North Korea policy," the development of "recommendations to change course," and direct communication with the North Koreans about "the consequence of their actions and the administration's new course."

Reid's skull should be investigated for evidence of the presence of a brain.

The Clinton Administration could not have turned that nuclear material over to the North Koreans in 1994 without the approval of congress. Who ran congress until Nov. of 1994? Harry?

Get real Harry. When are you going to stop the monday morning quarterbacking and realize what's at stake for our nation's national security? It's things like this that have me fumed. The Democratic leadership is devoid of leadership on national security issues. All they can do is blame Bush, because he's the big punching bag for the MoveOn.org crowd. Meanwhile, Iran and N. Korea continue to laugh at the diplomatic route that Dirty Harry so embraces.

Which, being translated, means, "whatever you do, don't look over here!"

If ever there was a time for Bush to send Osama Bin Laden into retirement for life at Guantanamo, now is the time.

Reid is no idiot!

He knows his remarks and friendly commentary will be all over Big Media news.

...without ever mentioning how N.Korea got the reactors and subsequent fuel for their weapons program!

Reid is an idiot

No, it's worse than that. Reid is not an idiot -- you don't get that far in politics by being an idiot.

What he really is, is one of the poster boys for decadence. He'd have been right at home operating in the waning days of Imperial Rome.

Let's let Chris Wallace ask Clinton about HIS North Korea policies, while we're at it.

Chris should interview Peanut Brain Carter and Maddie Notbright as well.

Yeah, Harry is a pathetic little traitorous backstabber of our Commander in Chief.

I'm sure originally it was because he is LDS (that's what they prefer to be called, by the way). But today, with his party's support for abortion, partial birth abortion, no prayer outside the church or home, etc., it's bizarre. I can only guess that the influx of effeminate Californian Liberals has bucked him up where he no longer cares what the people who sent him to D.C. think.
