I'm truly sorry for the guy if this story is true. But the narrative of the story sounds like it was written by the same author of the Nigerian email scams that I receive from time to time.
Yes, the prose can be rather dense at times, but in terms of getting a report from those closest to the scene, this reporter and this paper are unmatched.
Even other papers in India tend to gloss over or ignore some of the gory details that this publication details.
As such, I do check it for atrocities that seem to rise above the usual - like for example, a 17 year old boy decapitated in a mosque in front of his family, including mother and sisters for allegedly being an "informant".
