North Korea wants congratulations
Associated Press (excerpt) ^ | October 9, 2006

UNITED NATIONS - The U.N. Security Council should congratulate North Korea for its nuclear test instead of passing "useless" resolutions or statements, North Korea's U.N. ambassador said Monday.

Pak Gil Yon told reporters he was proud of the North Koreans who conducted the test, and said the Security Council ought to be, too. Asked if the North planned any more tests, Pak said: "That will be enough. You don't think so?"

The council was holding a meeting about the test, and several diplomats warned of tough measures, possibly including the threat of sanctions.

"It will be better for the Security Council of the United Nations to congratulate the DPRK scientists and researchers instead of doing such notorious, useless and rigorous resolutions or whatever," Pak said, referring to the North by its formal name, the Democratic People's Republic of North Korea.

Hard to disagree with the "useless resolutions" part.

North Korea also promised Bill Clinton in 1994 that they would NOT build nuclear weapons.

They PROMISED him--and to reward them for their PROMISE--Slick let them build a nuclear reactor--and helped them pay for it!!

How could they POSSIBLY break that 'promise'? /s

Thanks, Slick---add this one to your pathetic legacy too.

Well you do have to give them credit for referring to UN resolutions as "useless".

I hate the North Korean commies, but I do sortof respect their dissing the UN in such a hilarious way.

They are right ofcourse. UN resolutions are utterly worthless. Hopefully, the more nations that say such things the less seriously people will take the UN.

Few things illustrate the moral bankruptcy of the Left better than their opposition to the U.S. employing ABM systems. They claim they're too expensive, they don't work, and they only serve to antagonize our enemies.

1) Too expensive? Since when do libs have qualms about spending taxpayer dollars?

2) Don't work? Well, that's already been proven wrong in various tests. .....and they're becoming more effective by the day.

3) Antagonize our enemies by employing purely defensive measures? This is where the libs are exposed in all their insanity. In their self-hatred they want to see America destroyed, and think we deserve it.

If the RNC had any brains

Well, I think we know by now that they don't. I liked your idea ofcourse, but the RNC will find a way to bungle the argument.

It's not that the DNC is any better, they just have the entire MSM helping them refine their talking points.
