Just to further my point, re: A vengeful God:
Exodus 12:1-20 Killing all first born in Egypt if no lambs blood was put on the doors.
Exodus 15:4 The red sea that closed upon Pharaoh's chariots and his army
Genesis 11:1-9 The Tower of Babal
Genesis 19:20-27 Turning Lot into a pillar of salt
Those sound like vengeful things to me. My main point however, is that God will judge these islamofacists accordingly and
vengeance will be his.

God doesn't do things out of vengeance, he has a purpose in all things. You err when you apply human emotions to a non human God.
That's my 2 cts, I don't have confidence that you will be convinced. But it's important to raise opposition to such proclamations.
