ROTTERDAM, The Netherlands -- Former U.S. President Bill Clinton says he had plans in the early 1990s to attack and destroy North Korea's nuclear facilities after the secretive communist state was found to be producing weapons-grade plutonium.
At the time, he said, North Korea had plans to produce between six and eight nuclear weapons per year.

He did in fact have a plan. This is true. I am no fan of Clinton. They came very close to all out war. The US military in South Korea along with the US Embassy there was in the final stages of a massive evac plan for US civilians out of Seoul.

Sure he did. But Jimmuh talked him into providing the North Koreans with a free nuclear plant, instead, so they could make bombs more easily.
Anyway, It's hard to concentrate on minor matters like nuclear weapons in the hands of madmen, when you have more important things in mind, like whom you're planning to rape or murder next.

Complete bullshit and there is no other phrase that comes to mind that conveys the absurdity of the claim.

he sounds like the kids who "did his homework but left it at home or the dog ate it". my response as a teacher, so what?
easy for him to say, does he have to get clearance to disclose what comes out of his mouth?

those plans must have been cancelled when his regime decided to give them more nuclear capablities.
i wonder if this was before or after MADelin Halfbright toasted Kim Jong Il and called him a reasonable man

They came rather close to war.
I was there in the region at the time.
Nobody can tell me otherwise.
I despise Clinton, but stateside politics cannot trump actual history. Clinton and Perry had the plan. Okinawa and US bases on the mainland of Japan, were getting into position.

The picture was October 23, 2000. Albright said they were much closer than before her visit. After Bush took office, Albright said: "Korea cheated".

The entire decade of the 90's has been rewritten by the MSM.
Saddam and Sons, NK, and Iran, are all innocent victims of the evil Bush regime.
This is what the majority of Americans believe, exactly what the MSM want them to believe.
To: what's up
"We actually drew up plans to attack North Korea and to destroy their reactors and we told them we would attack unless they ended their nuclear program," Clinton told a security forum So what stopped him?
North Korea promised that they would end their nuclear program and respect Madelaine Albright in the morning.

More "plans" ? What the hell good are plans if you never act on them? Coulda, woulda, shoulda. He wants us to believe he "thought about" doing a lot of things. Big deal!
