When Barney Franks resigns his seat, the Republicans will think about cleaning house.

Is this guy a pollster or some bitter idiot like Sacarborough, Buchanan and other knee jerk republicans who always forsee unfounded doom and gloom for the Republican Party. A bitter idiot.

MORE BACKGROUND ON LUNTZ'S VENDETTA AGAINST GOP
'98 Misstep May Have Cleared Pollster's Dance Card

At House Republicans' annual retreat on Maryland's Eastern Shore late last week, Republican pollster Frank Luntz was on the original schedule to make a presentation -- but he did not.
To: Owen
"The desperation is really apparent on the part of the Dems when they have spent all year posting things like this here to split the base." Yes.
"The depths of their agony when they do not win will be beyond measure, and as decent Americans we will not be allowed to gloat."
No. I will gloat. I will issue posts laden with Schadenfreude for months on end, just as I did in 2000, in 2002, and in 2004.
"All we can do is to point to their policies and issue a COMMAND."
And that command is -- vote the Hate America First Party out of every elected office, down to the last dog-catching Chechnik.
To: RFEngineer
WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT! I haven't laid the blame for anything at conservatives feet.
All that I have said is that all hell will break loose if the Dems are in charge.
I think that you have me mixed up with someone else.
To: tennmountainman
"Are you afraid that he is not a "true conservative"?
"
It's not just him......the GOP, as a party, is not conservative either
To: Maelstorm
Do you really believe that a Gay congressman is going to make us lose the elections? The Foley case will have zero effect on the elections, and we will retain control of both houses of Congress.

"Of course no one can propose that--and female pages would still be targets--but I have a hard time believing that the Democrats who are making all the noise really care about the pages"
Expose them all and let their district voters decide if they deserve re-election.
And for heaven sake, get a handle on the high level GOP gay staffers running around making decisions they have no right making by themselves.

I have some questions about Frank Luntz's sexual orientation as well...

This is true. apologies if I mistook you for someone else, or misinterpreted your post.
To: Fee
GOP loss will be good because I predict the Dem cure will be worst as taxcut is rolled back, border fence funding dismantled, assault rifle ban reinstated with additions and haggling with GWB which will embolden the enemy to attack free Iraq and US troops.By this logic, you are saying that you think it will be a good thing if our troops die.
To: jimbo123
Jimbo, you still have not answered my question.
Are u for open borders and out of control spending?
To: mware
Whether we like it or not the RINO's did us in. If we had locked down the border and made an attempt to send the illegals back down south of the border things would have been a lot better. We were sold out by traders to the party.

It's entirely possible the GOP has flushed away its reelection chances, but the fact that Frank Luntz says they have actually makes me more confident that they'll win. Here's everything you need to know about Frank Luntz, care of Penn & Teller's show, "Bulls**t" (Warning! Some really bad language scattered throughout, but a must-watch): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jW-iPfZbUIY

Fee/cow- you guys are SOOOO wrong... First of all, do you have ANY idea how hard it is to knock off an incumbent especially in the House? It may work this year because the media is four-square behind the Dems...
Second, the MEDIA is still all-powerful, and the newcomers will be in for life.

Luntz is bitter because the GOP House Leadership disinvited him from their annual retreat earlier this year because of the consulting work he has been doing for Harry Reid and other democrats.
Luntz should disclose that he is currently working for Harry Reid and that no Republicans have him on their payroll for this election.
To: mariabush
Who's the greater fool, me, or a GOP leadership that has given conservatives no one to vote for?
