Bill O'Reilly & Ann Coulter like Romney (Limbaugh, Medved, Hewitt, Kondracke, Beck . . .)
NewsBusters ^ | 10/4/06 | Bill O'Reilly & Ann Coulter

Posted on 10/08/2006 11:48:30 AM PDT by Jeff Fuller

O'REILLY: Is there anything that could make you vote Democrat? Is there any scenario that you could envision you supporting the Democrat candidate for president?

COULTER: If Zell Miller were running against John McCain.

O'REILLY: You're not a big McCain fan, are you?

COULTER: No. Actually, I don't really like any of our front-runners.

O'REILLY: Really?

COULTER: I think it's going to be somebody else.

O'REILLY: I think it's going to be Mitt Romney.

COULTER: Actually, of the ones they talk about ... he's my favorite. It's somebody out of the blue.

O'REILLY: I think Mitt Romney is the guy on the inside track that very few people know about.

Once people get to know the real Mitt Romney, his star will fade.
He is no conservative. Pro gay rights. Pro choice. Or was until he decided to run for President.

The dingleberry isn't my choice, I'm voting for Allen.

"Jewish ancestry issues?

So, No Jews allowed.....I guess your anti-semitism is beginning to show!!!!

whatever these political pundits say...right now...the person to beat is Rudy!.....

yes, he has baggage but he was tough on crime, a very good executive and leader in times of crisis, a decision maker that doesn't need to take a poll...and he stood up to the saudis and told them to take their $10 million check and shove it!

name another contender that has this political moxy!

The GOP frontrunner has yet to emerge. I'm certain of it.

Well .. being "gaffe prone" means Bush would never have been the repub's candidate. I'm still in Allen's corner. I have nothing against Romney - but I don't know anything about him.

I think you're going to see a slightly more militant Allen after he wins his Senate seat - which looks good for him at this time. He has gone on offense and it's working for him.

I don't always believe polls but saw one recently that said only 22 percent would vote for a Mormon while 61 percent would vote for a woman. I like Romney and I don't care if he's a Mormon, but wonder if that would be a big drawback.

I tend to disagree with that opinion.

It is the democrats who will bring out every facet of his Mormon faith and they will use it like a club to beat him with.
Romney has said he will not discuss his faith as far as specific doctrine. Fair enough but the MSM will not let him get away with that.
Here is a link to what will happen should Romney get the nomination. Written by a conservative. And she is completely right.

I say no to any left wing New England RINOS.

But a left wing RINO from Texas is okay?

JRochelle . . . you type before you understand quite often.

A lesson in grammer/English . . . items inside of parentheses relate to the aforementioned subject/modifer.

How he handled Macaca and the news that his mother was a closet Jew were gaffes for him. Get it? That's why those two issues are grouped together after the "gaffe-prone" title.

I have NO problem with someone's religion as long as it isn't "un-American" in it's ideology nor immoral in it's viewpoint. Judaism does not fit those descriptors. I lived in Jerusalem for 4 months and have quite a lot of respect for most Jews I know. I even feel quite a kinship, in fact.

Thanks for calling me an "anti-semite" . . . and making yourself look quite foolish.

Rush Limbaugh, O'Reilly, Coulter, Hewitt, Medved, and Beck are MSM or "Centrist" Republicans? Who do you get your news . . . or did you just not read my first comment?

Every liberal in our nation groans when most of those pundits open their mouths. Quite a standard you must have there.

Romney is too metrosexual slick for my taste. I saw Guillani recently, and he was an awesome combination of very tough with a gorgeous smile and good sense of humor.

It's somebody out of the blue.

I dont know about you, but I detect some sort of pun/symbolism/play on words from Ann here.

This is just too funny . . .

See post #30 about my obvious anti-semetism.

You knee-jerking, "read too quickly to understand", Romney-bashers are really starting to crack me up.

They are not going to say anything negative about any Republican at this time.

The one the Democrats and the MSM are really afraid of is the only real Conservative that will win in 2008.
He is George Allen our next POTUSA.

I don't really like any of our front-runners

That's what you get when you let the MSM pick our candidate.

Keep repeating these points enough and some people may start to buy them . . . despite their being false.

Romney is a national leader in the Marriage Protection Ammendment (Values Voters Summitt a few weeks ago invited him in to spealk on the issue). And was so befor he decided to run for President.

He's pro-life. That's what he says. His political record is 100% pro-life as a sitting governor.
