Bwahahaha, Rahm says they will have a change in tone in Congress, they will respect differences. Bwhahahahah.

I have come to the end of my rope with this Foley stuff. I will now change channels anytime it is discussed. The tipping point has been reached.

Rahm lies all the time, including (maybe especially)when he was in the Clinton WH - he made my skin crawl then and still does.

I was looking up something on Emanuel yesterday. A few interesting tidbits in here.

"Well since Nancy the Protector has informed us to protect the children from the gays I now have to ask if Emanuel is gay???"

Not sure about that, but he was a ballet dancer and he is married w 3 kids (see below). Here's some interesting info on him.
Early Career
Emanuel was born November 29, 1959 in Chicago. Emanuel was a ballet dancer as a boy and in high school and won a scholarship to the Joffrey Ballet. He turned down the scholarship to attend Sarah Lawrence College, a school with a strong dance program and "there were four women for every guy."[1] (http://www.rollingstone.com/politics/story/8091986/the_enforcer/?rnd=1141682869671&has-player=unknown) He graduated in 1981 and received a Master's Degree in Speech and Communication from Northwestern University in 1985. While still a student at Sarah Lawrence College, he joined the congressional campaign of David Robinson of Chicago.

Emanuel began his career with the consumer rights organization Illinois Public Action. He went on to serve in a number of capacities in local and national politics, including liberal Democrat Paul Simon's 1984 election to the U.S. Senate, political director for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee in 1988, and senior advisor and chief fundraiser for Richard M. Daley's victorious campaign for mayor of Chicago in 1989. Emanuel became known for his fundraising abilities in the mayoral campaign of Richard Daley. He would insist on donors giving more than they previously gave, even hanging up the phone on donors to convey his disgust. At the age of 30 he raised an unheard of $7 million for Daley. This helped win him a job as Director of Finance in the 1992 Presidential campaign of then-Governor Bill Clinton.

[edit]Clinton Administration
He joined then Governor Bill Clinton's presidential primary campaign in 1991 and worked as part of the original "War Room" with George Stephanopoulos, James Carville, and Paul Begala. Following the campaign, Emanuel became a senior advisor to Clinton at the White House (1993-1998). In the White House, Emanuel was initially Assistant to the President for Political Affairs but was fired for overstepping his bounds. He then worked his way from the bottom of the administration, lobbying Congress for NAFTA and working to recast Clinton as a centrist[2] (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/politics/special/clinton/stories/rahm101698.htm), until he was appointed Senior Advisor to the President for Policand Strategy. He was a leading strategist in the White House's ultimately unsuccessful push for universal healthcare in 1994 and worked on a variety of other issues including expanding the use of school uniforms[3] (http://www.time.com/time/nation/article/0,8599,1153661,00.html) and putting trigger locks on guns. Emanuel's proudest work came from organizing and choreographing the meeting and handshake between Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin and Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat.[4] (http://www.jewishjournal.com/home/preview.php?id=9902)

He left the White House to accept a well-paid position in investment banking at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein in Chicago where he worked from 1999-2002, when he was elected to the U.S. House.

Check this out:
Chicago Water Deparment
In May of 2005, Gerald Wesolowski, a top lieutenant in City Hall's Water Department, pled guilty to collecting $200,000 in bribes from trucking companies.[13] (http://cbs2chicago.com/politics/local_story_122121138.html) Wesolowski also stated that his former boss Donald Tomczak, who has since been ordered him to raise funds and direct water department workers to campaign for a number of politicians including Richard M. Daley and Rahm Emanuel back in 2002. David Keene, the President of the American Conservative Union, brought up this incident as evidence that Emanuel is hypocritical for assailing Tom DeLay over ethics issues.[14] (http://www.hillnews.com/thehill/export/TheHill/Comment/DavidKeene/051005.html) Emanuel has never been alleged of wrongdoing and has stated that he was unaware of the pressure Tomczak was using on water department workers to campaign in the 2002 election.

Emanuel's wife Amy Rule, and their three children, Zachariah, Ilana and Leah, live in the north side of Chicago, in the neighborhood of Roscoe Village. His father, a pediatrician still practicing near Chicago, immigrated to the United States from Israel and spoke Hebrew with his son, when Emanuel was a boy. Emanuel, whose first name, Rahm, means "high" or "lofty" in Hebrew, and his wife are active members of a Modern Orthodox congregation in Chicago.

Bradley Whitford's character Josh Lyman on NBC television series The West Wing is based on Emanuel.[1] His younger brother, Ari Emanuel, is a Hollywood agent and inspired Jeremy Piven's character Ari Gold on the HBO series Entourage.[1] His older brother Ezekiel Emanuel is an oncologist and medical ethicist.

Emanuel is the co-author of The Plan: Big Ideas for America published by PublicAffairs Books in 2006. On their website (readtheplan.com), Emanuel and co-author Bruce Reed state that they wrote The Plan to "give Americans an answer" to the question of how the country can be turned around with "an innovative agenda" to become a "new social contract for America". Emanuel appeared on the Charlie Rose show on August 21, 2006 to discuss the book and proposals.

#259, we are all sick of this Gay Bashing going on with the DBM and The DNC. Now we have this female Democrat Candidate "Grief Slut" running around insinuating that Foley is a Pedophile Murderer like whomever kidnapped her Son. They are painting every Homosexual with a really nasty big brush.
