#659, you are too funny. Is it a surprise to anyone that Rosie O'donnell is a Dyke? I did not think so. Do we really care what their proclivities are as long as they shut the hell up ,and act, or sing ,or juggle hand grenades? I certainly do not,but I do question Rosie bathing with her children without her clothes on, that would be very frightening for a child to see. If those children have ever been to the Farm, they may think she is part Cow with those huge udders flopping around unrestrained. Gives us all the hurling chills.....

Looks like Corker is within fighting distance down about 3%, Santorium in PA is another story, looks like he is going down unless he gets a real miracle in the next 30 days.

You may be "harder right" than most, but you seem to have caught Laura Ingraham disease re: Foley-gate. Luckily she appears to have recovered almost completely. The disease appears to have a 4-5 day period where you are somewhat contagious (but only to other media types) and then it clears up with large doses of people telling you that you are helping the liberals spread their stupid "Hastert is bad and must be punished" meme.

I think that assuming the middle is ignorant is a BIG mistake.

So after the election can I suggest that we can work inside the party to get better reps and leadership without it being bashing?

;-)

Exactly. I've said time and again, too many people ignore the primary elections and stay home because they can't be bothered. Primaries are the most important because we can get out for a true conservative and then work to elect them against the rat party.

Fact was, the Vietnamese communists were brutal, sadistic, and ruthless. They were not the equivalent of the Massachusetts minutemen trying to keep King George from their cannons. But that is how the then DBM and leftists portrayed it. Hell, even I believed so back then.

The Vietnamese could still be free today if we had stuck it out.

This is why I've wanted to cry out every time someone on our side has said "Iraq is not Vietnam."  That's the wrong formulation.  It should be "we won't allow the traitors in the Democrat party to betray these people and our country the way they did in Vietnam!"

They don't know the meaning of "Swiftboating" if we can get that argument started.  There's 35 years of suppressed rage at them built up among millions of people.  Jane Fonda and John Kerry better have a place to hide if we ever get that going as the question.  And that doesn't even speak of the Vietnamese, Cambodians and others who have real grievances against them.

#667, Matt Drudge is old news, and as long as we do not date him,and he does not date 6 year olds,we do not care. Ann Coulter is buddy buddy with Matt, and they are cute together. I get along well with a good deal of gays because they make good girlfriends, and they do not try to cop a feel. That said, you have to watch the way they look at your male friends,Husband,Sons, etc. Yuk!

the DC beltway knows far more than we do about all sorts of problems there.

The DC beltway wouldn't know what real Americans think even if they took the time to ask them, which they won't do. They live in rarified atmospheres and like listening to each other talk. They are paid entertainers and they get paid for being outrageous and stirring up scandal where none exists.

They were hoping for hurricanes, they got a gay Republican. Hurricane Foley. Hastert's fault, shoulda called in FEMA sooner. He must hate children or he would've acted sooner.

To many good people will not run either and it's because no matter what they do they will be attacked. It's a given that a Republican will be attacked by the media and the Democrats.

It makes the job even more unattractive when one stands the chance of being attacked by one's own party because one is not a robotic cool aid drinker.

Thanks Johnnie! Of course my screen got a bit blurry and hard to read for awhile. I've saved this and am going to refer to it often as well as send it to friends and relatives.

BTW - My sister and I took my 4 yo nephew to the Salmon Days Parade yesterday. A lot of Army soldiers started the parade off - - on foot, a band, various vehicles, etc. I was a little late and got there when those in front were just turning the corner. I crossed the street when there was a slight break but there was a young soldier close by and I said Thank you for your service and smiled. He got a HUGE grin on his face and smiled and said, "You're welcome". We yelled thank you to all those we could as they passed by and gave them a thumbs up, applauded, etc. It was great! Most of those nearby us were applauding the soldiers as well - - that made me so happy (and, of course, I kept getting choked up and my eyes puddled up). Thank goodness I live in a burb (Dino Rossi's old district) where the families are a bit more conservative leaning than in the Peoples Republic of Seattle. The Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts got huge applause, too.

Of course, it is one of my consistent messages:

HOW TO ELECT A CONSERVATIVE SENATE

This is not the time to criticize any of our elected officials. IMHO, we owe that much to the President. He's had to work with these ego maniacs. Deal with McCain and his stupid cohorts, Graham, etc.

It shouldn't be too much to ask for us to get out and vote.

Not that long ago, Leahy bragged that his was the final vote that cut off funding for the Viet Nam war.

I wanted to cry, just listening to him brag.
