The question is not "are you paranoid?" The question is "are you paranoid enough?"
Tom Sizemore as Max Peltier in Strange Days.
#529,yup!
Right...and, unless you didn't know he was gay..and would NEVER vote for a gay person, regardless of his/her behaviour...from what I have read in samantha's posts..he was a GOOD representative..as far as doing his job for his constituents...
Therefore, why NOT vote for him...IF this was unknown, or even if some of this is lies.
I have a feeling that enough of it is true to be a GOOD thing that he is gone...but, I also think a lot was lies, and is adding more, and more lies...not because of Foley, but because of the election.
ALL of the sources except Fordham seem to be anonymous...TOO convenient.
I was so shocked to find out how relatively fair CNN was when I got to compare it to CNN International and BBC on a cruise a few years ago. Truly disgusting. And people wonder why the US is hated.
Just now being reported on Fox News....the Iraqi government has opened a NEW refinery in Najaf.
GOOD NEWS...that may be the last we hear of it though...
BTW..when is the last time America built a new refinery?? I don't know....but a LONG time ago....and not while being shot at.
What I wouldn't give for fresh dolphin and pompano .. YUMM! Didja take a group out or was this pleasure trolling?
Well...Matt Drudge is on the LIST...so maybe he wants ALL LISTS to be illegal...LOL
Got to leave...back this evening.
"And since my understanding is that they rarely ever spend any time together, one has to believe that she is committing adultery, unless she has a nun's habit hidden in her closet. "
She has an 8HP, Briggs & Stratton, electric start variable speed dildo hidden in there.
Above should read OBLIGATION.
Part of the 1973 Paris Peace Treaty with the Communists and our South Vietnamese ally was we'd come back into the fight if they militarily attacked the South again.
We let that treaty blow away in the wind.
I took her comments to be about holding her nose and voting pubbie this time, but immediately starting to work on the primaries for '08 so that we get better choices next time around. On her show yesterday she touched on this in the last 10 minutes or so, that getting involved early in the primary races is where we have our best chance to make a real difference.
Good for you....I feel the same way...my husband is a Viet Vet...and although he is less interested in politics than I am....we both agree that somehow the HISTORY and lesson of the Vietnam War and it's ENDING..has to be told over and over..
Even though my son, who is 27 has a Viet Vet father..he still KNOWS nothing..and was going to vote for Kerry last time...until I sat him down and told him the truth.
Unfortunately, the only Vietnam Vets that are getting any airtime are the Murtha, Kerry, Webb, group!!!
A little TOO convenient in my book...especially since Fordham was no longer working for Foley...
And, according to the article was madly running around Washington trying to get anyone to listen to him that Foley was chasing the pages, and doing awful things...but no one did anything about it.....(according to HIM)...
But, he has LUNCH with the man he is so upset about, right at the exact moment that Foley gets the news....hmmmmmm????
I think that you are listening to the media too much, and buying into their Chicken Little spin on every little thing. Things are not as clear-cut in the real world such that the perfect course of action is always obvious. And the Congress is made up of 435+100 super-egos-- each answering to a different group of constituencies.
I don't know who Price and Sinton are so I'll not touch that whole thing..
Your comments on Hastert are a case in point that the DBM is causing you to act somewhat hysterical. Hastert is a good man, and he has done a fine job with what he has been given to work with.
If the country were monolithically in agreement with you, (and I and many other Freepers) about what needed to be done to solve all of our domestic and global issues, then it would be easy to elect the perfect candidates and they would enact the perfect legislation. In the real world, there are a lot of lefties, socialists and people willing to trade freedom for security. They want a nanny state to take care of them. And they vote, and they make up the majority in a number of districts and states. And you and I can't stop them.
All we can do is to see that we have good conservatives running in Red districts, and give them enough support to win the primary and then the general. There is little to be done to get a Conservative Senator from the Northeast-- if it ever happens we should view it as a gift.
And term limits for US congressmen will require an Amendment and we have bigger fish to fry than this at the moment, I'm not even sure they would be a good thing in many cases.
I'm looking forward to hearing your show, hope you are enjoying it so far!
This is why though I despise the democrats or more accurately the Leftists, I am keen to see the DBM stopped now. They are truly dangerous. I'll bet no one under 45 really knows what happened in March and April of 1975. Even those that remember try to forget. Such a shame on our great nation.
LOL!
