"Vote for Murtha, a veteran who cares"
About WHAT??
BwaaaaaHaaaaaHaaaaa!!!
A pretty pathetic letter. A rant of supposed facts trying to play on the emotions of people. He wouldn't know a fact if it bit in the rear.
Diana Irey.... You Don't Know Jack.... BootMurtha.... Vets4Irey
bttt
I'd say this article ought to be worth 500-1,000 votes. Whaddya think? Is that too much? Too little?
Just A Nobody, I am traveling and just checked this post, but I wanted to say this:
We Tennesseans booted Jim Sasser after he had had a long cushy job in D.C. It can be done.
I am in Alabama at a convention for outdoor communicators and a lot of folks here are talking about Murtha. I told them I had sent Dianna money, plan to send more when I return home. You'd be surprised at the support she has from across the country.
Murtha is considered a hawk by many, and is as strong as they come on war issues.
Considered a hawk by who, or is it whom?
Strong on war issues????? Really??? What issues would they be?
1983: Beirut = Cut and Run
1993: Mogadishu = Cut and Run
2005: Iraq = Cut and Run
What war issues is he strong on.....besides Cut and Run?
died because of failed Bush policies<> What failed policy is that?
I know that Murtha has been there for this family.
If this is true, than I say thanks Jack! What about all the other veterans in the district that Johnny ignores? What about Craig Minnick? Is johnny boy there for Craig?
The rest of this "alleged" letter is too stupid to comment on. It sounds like the young commies that I see protesting on the streets of DC spewing their nonsensical rhetoric to prove their ignorance. The only thing he left out is the final battlecry.................
HALLIBURTON!!!
I've voted for U.S. Rep. John P. Murtha since 1994, my first election as a Johnstown resident. I did so because I liked his style of quiet leadership, moral authority
Clearly, in 1994 Mr. Vega was unaware that Murtha was an unindicted co-conspirator in the ABSCAM scandal.
Irey has the same amount of time to convince me that she's something more than an "anti-Murtha."
Short of a home visit, what would you like Mrs. Irey to do, Mr. Vega?
Thanks for providing the letter with e-mail address Smooth. I think I'll go e-mail links to Diana's websites. ;*)
Well said Jaz!
WooHoo! Good job Jaz!!! ;*)
Thank you and your fellow Tennesseans! You give the rest of us hope!
I am in Alabama at a convention ..... a lot of folks here are talking about Murtha ..... You'd be surprised at the support she has from across the country.
WooHoo!!! Thank you so much for this positive report! How long will you be there? Someone could overnight some fliers to you. LOL!
Please tell them to go to www.irey.com and contribute to Diana's campaign. It will cost money to get the word out about Murtha.
Have a great time and safe travel!
Tennesseans probably beat any other state in booting out no-good politicans.
Difficult to say. I hope its enough to boot murtha.
Murtha supports vets

I have known Congressman Jack Murtha since 1999 when I commanded the Walter Reed Health Care System in Washington, D.C. I can state, based on personal experience, that his strong and consistent support of military medicine and of wounded members of the armed services and their families has been outstanding.
Murtha enjoys the strongest reputation among all the senior uniformed leaders I know for his courage, integrity and knowledge of the military. He is the most effective advocate for its needs.
Michael A. Dunn, M.D.
Davidsville
The writer is a brigadier general, U.S. Army, retired
I cannot speak for troops that were in WR in 1999, but I can tell you that I have not found any wounded warriors today that feel Murtha is supportive of them.
Then again, I haven't visited with the "senior uniformed leaders" that Dr. Dunn knows.
Exactly.
Just got home JAN. By the time I posted you (my sister lives where the conference was and I posted you from her house) the events were over.
But I can tell you, Dianna is BIG newes in the circles where I run, and Murtha is dead meat. I bet she sees a spike in donations soon, as I talked her up to a LOT of people. They all were aware of her, but hadn't considered sending her a (even if small) donation.
