I don't see how anybody can view this incident as a "set-up"... Foley was sexually harassing teenage male pages. That's a fact.

And anybody that sees an email from a 50yo gay man to a 16yo boy asking for his picture... they should be asking some serious questions.

Obviously, the Congressmen believed and trusted their friend and colleague.

And the newspapers editors believed it was not an alert.

The FBI did not raise alarms.

It's very simple really.

And a busted gay perv in Congress has ZERO to do with the legislation put forth by Dems or Republicans.

As if I or any other Republican/Conservative will allow the Commie Vampires to take over because of Foley.

Define "harassing" and supply an example of Foley doing this, and why is the term "teenage" used in your post if not equating the word with minor legal status?

Sexual harassment occurs in the work place or in some professional capacity.
These young men were no longer pages,
they were private citizens at or above the age of consent and Jordan and other former pages maintained a voluntary internet relationship with Foley .
Foley set out lures and some responded, others didn't.
Foley liked them young, but, from all that we know now-he also made sure they were legal.
The biggest legal pitfalls for Foley will be if he ever had sex with a minor , enticed a minor to cross state lines for the purposes of having sex or has child porn on his computer.
The politicians are screaming about adults preying on children.
Yet, they're the ones who made the legal age of consent 16 in many states.

The report he was 16 is erroneous. He was 18.
