Christianity is winning the war of ideas. If it weren't for death threats (and followthrough) it would be a clean, quick victory.
Thank God that there are brave men like this who will spread His word in the face of all dangers. Hopefully, he will inspire others to spread the Word.

So they don't want anybody to ask and to learn. 'This is Islam, you have to accept it as it is' lest you should be killed, Zakaria said. Truer words have scarcely been spoken. I have long held deep suspicion of any who cannot permit their faith to suffer critique. The violent response exhibited over silly little cartoons is enough to show that Islam and its adherents are not fit to be called anything but a satanic death-worshipping cult.

Father Zakaria's broadcasts have generated intense anger in the Muslim world and there's a $60 million bounty on his head Muslims angry? Now that's something you don't hear about every day....

He said that his concerns are three things: women, perfume, and food, Once again, this priest points out that the real difficulty with Islam is not that terrorists have misinterpreted it, but that it incorporates elements of evil from the beginning, with Muhammed himself.
I think what this article also points out is that Muslims are ripe for conversion.
The difficulty is that they will kill any Muslim who converts, as well as anyone who tries to bring the Gospel message to Muslims.
But the opportunity is that this kind of violence is yet another proof of how evil Islam is, when it demands forced submission of its adherants and refuses them any exercise of reason or free will.
The path to conversion is a difficult one, but I see no other way, short of killing a billion people, which I don't think the West can afford to do, on its own conscience, unless it is completely backed into a corner by these fanatics and is given no other choice.
Until then--and may it never happen--conversion is the obvious route.

I'm sure Father Zakaria doesn't carry artillery, so I hope he has a Swiss guard protecting him. Ya'all know about the "religion of peace."

James came to faith in Jesus Christ watching Father Zakaria. His wife soon followed.
These are the only kind of Mideasterners we should allow to immigrate to this country. It's time to cut of Islamic immigration as being fundamentally and inalterably incompatible with Western democracy and freedom.

I have heard him on Paltalk. He is much loved there. And hated, by the Muslims.

I added this thread to the Keyword list for
ArabChristians, FR's keyword list on Christians in the Mideast. Of the most interesting articles there are those on Arab in America. 80% of them are Christian (Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant). And of the American Muslim population, only 25% are Muslim. There is some other great info there, like the Arab Christian channel which broadcasts in the United States.
I'd also recommend books and the debates of Anis Shorrosh, an Arab Baptist, who presents a very strong defense of Christian teachings against Islamic scholars in many public debates. His defense of the divinity of Christ and the Koran as the word of God are thoroughly Christian but non-denominational in outlook.
Shorrosh' website:
Truth In Crisis - Focusing On Islam
Two debates of Shorrosh vs. Muslim scholars you can watch for free can be found here:

Anne Coulter had it right. Father Boutros is making it happen. It's a difficult proposition in a world of illiterates. The success story in the post was a consequence of a literate person who was capable of testing the information against the scriptures. The average person in the muslim world can't do that.

Apparently he is still alive, which is surprising because nearly a year ago he appeared on Egyptian TV and the HOST of the interview show threatened his life ON THE AIR. Yes, the HOST! And then he opened the phone lines to callers, some of whom threatened Boutros with the usual "we know where you live, we will find you" stuff. Boutros of course is a Coptic CHristian from Egypt. This article was not very comprehensive, since you really have to figure out a lot
of basic details yourself, and look up whatever backstory there is, which I did.

Great doc.
Thanks.
Been waiting for more to step up to the plate and tell such truths forcefully.
Great.
