Clinton coming to Bucks: Let's FREEP
GOP circles | 10/6/2006 | self

Posted on 10/07/2006 6:36:15 AM PDT by Edit35

Just got word that Bill Clinton is coming to Bucks County on Wed., Oct. 11 to help campaign for Democrat candidate Patrick Murphy, who is running for the House of Representative seat now held by Rep. Michael Fitzpatrick.

TOPICS: Culture/Society; Government; News/Current Events; Politics/Elections
KEYWORDS: clinton; fitzpatrick; murphy
Clinton will reportedly give a speech at the Bristol Wharf, in Bristol Boro at the end of Mill Street. I'm already thinking up something to put on my signs, and plan to be there. For example: "Clinton played while Osama schemed" or maybe "Clinton Legacy: Do nothing about terror". Any suggestions would be great.

That's Bucks County, Pennsylvania, just north of Philadelphia.

Bummer. I am coming home from a business trip on Wednesday and won't be back in time. This deserves a good FReep. I will be with you guys in spirit though. I sure hope we can nail Murphy for associating with Bill Clinton if he makes a peep about Mark Foley.

I guess the Dems still think this race is winnable if they are bringing in Slick. I really don't see it myself.

My sign would be a little cruder, I'm afraid. Something along the lines of:

Foley IMs <<< Clinton BJs

or

Clinton: the REAL sexual predator

On www.mapblast, put "Radciffe Street & Mill Street, Bristol, Pa" in the location box and it'll give you the exact location.

Basically, it's just off Route 13 [Bristol Pike] 1,000 yards north of the Burlington Bristol Bridge [Route 413]. If heading north on Route 13, turn right on Bath Street and follow it about 700 yards. It angles in and becomes Mill Street.

Heading south, turn left on bath St.
