Three days missing? Hmmm.
Three days = time needed for traces of most drugs (cocaine, speed, heroin) to disappear from urine for drug test.
Probably a coincidence.

Too bad she's not in the Navy.

Kuba,
You are getting a little hysterical about this case. Seeing as this is the only thing you have posted about since you signed up two weeks ago, why don't you explain what your part in this case is.

Boiler Plate

Wasn't she also hot on doing marathons? I think she had some upcoming obligations to run in an inter-service marathon and maybe the pregnancy was with her fiancee/then husband, but was "inconvenient" with her sports career.
Also perhaps it was supposed to be a "simple" procedure that went not so well, causing her to be gone longer than she originally planned.

Sorry, I didn't see your post before I speculated to much the same thing you wrote here.
Of course, if this is what happened, the Rats will use this to push for "better access" to abortion for military members.

Maybe she didn't want husband to know she was having an abortion. Maybe she just didn't even want to have the discussion/delay while she was worried about the impact of the pregnancy on her career/marathon running.

Those who are saying it was a secret abortion, that's all, would you mind telling me, then why is the FBI investigating this??

KK,
Jill Metzger and this whole incident REALLY is not very important. Not very many people care about this other than yourself.

what happened is not Jill's faultIf she committed adultery, had an abortion, went AWOL, lied about it, put other US personnel at risk, it sure is her fault and she should receive a dishonorable discharge and hard prison time for it.

If you're not interested in the story, maybe moving on to another thread is the way to go. Point of fact: many people do care about the well-being and conduct of those who wear the uniform, especially overseas.

I understand she claimed that. I guess my point is, just about everybody seems to know she had an abortion. According to what I read, anyway. How hard is it for the military investigators to find out what everybody else seems to already know?
