Now that was an article, that added absolutely nothing to the conversation. but it didn't stop CNN from continuing the non-story.

thanks for posting it , and affirming the obvious tactic at work here by the DBM

The attorney actually contradicted ABC saying their might have been a prank element. There is alot more nuance here than you might think. You have to remember the lawyer cannot admit a crime for his client.. but what is missing is the clear denial that ABC issued.

Edmund Lawyer Hints At Prank

A.J. Strata writes:

I just saw the lawyer for Jordan Edmund on CNN and when asked whether this was just part of a prank the lawyer said, with a small grin, “I can’t say there was not an element of a prank in this”

So it seems Drudge is correct.

So the barely risqué emails from the SSP website were forgeries of an issue dealt with in the fall and the IMs were the results of a prank goading Foley on. No complaints in all these years from the victims. Reviews by the FBI and media concluding insufficient evidence. Parents asking Foley to not talk to their child because he was uncomfortable - and Foley complying. Nothing until faked emails hit a fake website on information CREW and ABC News had for months….

Jordan Edmund will talk with the F.B.I.

Let's see how funny releasing the private IM chat transcripts will be in the end.

Why does an "innocent 16 year old victim" need a lawyer? Especially when he's 21?

Actually I think it adds a few things.

-One being I have not seen the word 'alleged' when referring to the IM's until today when Jones first used it.

-It also tell us that Edmund has been paid a visit by the FBI (which I assume is what led him to retain Jones).

-He apparently is one that has been subpoenaed by the House.

-Jones is not sure of the validity of the IM's or if they have been altered.

-Jones praises Foley's reputation prior to these IM's emerging.

Jordan Edmund, now a 21-year-old aide

The IM's were in 2003. That makes him an 18 year old adult talking dirty on the Internet in 2003. Where's the "16 year old child victim?"
This article says they were just two adults having a private homosexual conversation.
Interesting, aye?

"...Looks like the 'cleaning lady' of the House, Nancy Pelosi may have had a hand in the Foley case. Those bloggers in PJs continue to uncover what the Dems & ABC doesn't want you to know.

From Clarice Feldman with "Amercian Thinker" Further unraveling of the Foley case

Early this morning on JOM (Just A Minute Blog) we went through the cached page blog and noticed something interesting. The cached pages we examined indicate that the mother of one of the pages, Robin Katsoros, mother of Christopher Katsoros a former Pelosi page, told the pages she was working on a screen production of the lives of pages. And she gathered information from them.

She is a Conyers and Kerry supporter and he is a student at Georgetown now. It looks like the kids were trying to “sex” up their experiences to get her interested. Here are some bits of it. JOM has information on how we worked this out..."

From Edmunds op-ed:

QUOTE

"""
Recently, conservatives across the country have criticized amnesty proposals for undocumented workers, saying that we should not be rewarding lawbreakers. They have even gone so far as stipulating punishments to churches and nonprofits who knowingly aid them. All too quickly they make unfounded judgments on a whole group of people, while, for the most part, they have never even met a single undocumented worker. If they took out just a few minutes from their busy lives of curtailing churches’ ability to provide aid and actually walked in the boots of some of America’s hardest workers—the undocumented ones—they might join the rest of the country in agreeing that amnesty is really the least we can offer.

Attorney Stephen Jones

He served as a personal research assistant to President Richard Nixon in 1964 and as Oklahoma Gov. Dewey Bartlett's legal counsel in 1967. He is a former member of the Oklahoma Supreme Court Committee on Civil Jury Instructions and a former member of the Advisory Committee of the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals on its rules. In 1990, Jones was the Republican nominee for the U.S. Senate, losing to Sen. David Boren.

The more I read about this, the more similarities I see to "Rathergate"

Since she was fired, where's that woman producer of Rather's working these days?
It's not in Edmund, is it?

Interesting. The Republicans are asking Pelosi to take a lie detector test. They know she was in on it. She's refusing, because aiding and abetting is a crime.
If the "boy" really was 16 and the information was withheld from authorities because of an election, someone on the left is in trouble. I hope the FBI nails them (her?). (Both the perv and the matriarch will go down together. Now THAT would be a beautiful sight.)

I have a question, one of your links mentions that Jones contributed $5000 to Istook, what did he contribute to his opponent. I know for a fact that Jones is a Democrat.

The guy that outed this page was not a Dem operative. He is a staunch conservative Republican blogger. Istook called it a Dem website but he didn't have a clue -- either he did it on purpose or someone told him it was a Dem. Either way the guy running the blog tried to contact the Istook campaign but like so many others had no luck.

All I can say is I bet this 21-year old isn't as arrogant now as he has been during the campaign.
