I don't see cody, or anyone here, saying Foley was unfairly dismissed and an investigation made. I think the problem is ABC News going out of its way to find MORE sex scandals involving Republicans. Cody is very correct to use Monica Lewinski, as during 1998 ABC News would never had looked for MORE women harassed by Clinton.

Piling on by the Drive By Media is only done to Republicans. Most of us here see the DBM's hypocrisy for what it is. Cody just shoved it right back in their fat little face.

I think Mark Foley is a big, sleazy jerk. When he got caught, he resigned without even having to be pressured. That said, when Clinton did something very similar it was passed off as "a private matter." But it is still fair to say that Clinton was a big, sleazy jerk as well.

Cody's letter was an attempt to point out the hypocrisy of the press, not diminish the sleazy character of either man involved.

Bear in mind that when the Monica situation was occurring, the mainstream press was sitting on it - it took Matt Drudge to bring the story out. One of the networks refused to even report on the Gary Condit story until months after it hit the big time.

I have little faith in the media to report honestly on the corruption and unethical behavior of democrats. Being nice to them gets you no rewards save another knife in the back.

So, if this turns out to be a "set-up" by the demoncRATS, as I suspect it is, and Foley broke no laws per the age of consent in WA DC, then you are okay with the Republican fallout in order to bring down this "scumbag"?
