"You have people like Michael Moore going into foreign countries saying Americans are the stupidest people in the world," Zucker said. "I want to tell the real America story, that America is a force for good." Politics became deadly serious for Zucker on Sept. 11; he was disturbed by liberals who, he said, blamed America or spoke of root causes.
We've been blessed. Welcom home, Zucker.

Dave Barry once asked what growing up would have really been like for an actual boy who was known to everyone as Beaver Cleaver.

There would be no possibility of his not becoming a porn film star.

I don't think that Mr. Zucker should be concerned about being shunned by the Hollywood bigwigs. Those people have one concern: money and if he can deliver it to them (and he has proved that he can), everything else is of no consequence.

Which is why he called his business manager before agreeing to make these new attack ads: He wanted to know whether he could afford a Hollywood shunning. The answer: "I'm OK as long as I don't buy an $8-million mansion," he said.Ah ha! The new "In" status symbol. You know you have arrived when you can afford to be a republican in Hollywood :o)

Apparently Mel is about to begin his pre-release media blitz. This should be interesting. :)
But I won't be going to any more Mel Gibson movies, I can tell you that.
