Posted on 10/06/2006 12:21:32 PM PDT by InfantryMarine

We need to get the word out on this guy. Ohio is CRITICAL in NOV.!

BROWN'S FAR-OUT (ANTI) DEFENSE HITS

When it comes to fighting the War on Terror, Brown's singing the same anti-war tune he sang in the 70's.

He refused to support supplemental funding for our troops, has voted more than a dozen times to cut or freeze military spending, and also voted to cut funding for establishing a missile defense system. He even voted against pay-raises for military personnel. Brown not only opposes the War, but votes against our troops while they are in harm's way.

Brown Voted At Least TWICE Against The $87 Billion Supplemental Funding For Operations In Iraq And Afghanistan:

Fiscal 2004 Supplemental for Iraq and Afghanistan -- Conference Report. "Adoption of the conference report on the bill that would appropriate $87.5 billion in emergency fiscal 2004 spending for military operations and reconstruction in Iraq and Afghanistan. Military operations would receive $64.7 billion. Reconstruction aid to Iraq would be comprised of grants totaling $18.6 billion. Reconstruction efforts in Afghanistan would receive $1.2 billion. Note: A 'yea' was a vote in support of the president's position." (H.R. 3289, CQ Vote #601: Adopted (thus sent to the Senate) 298-121: R 216-5; D 82-115; I 0-1, October 31, 2003, Brown voted Nay)

The bill would provide $18.6 billion in grants for Iraqi reconstruction, $39.9 billion for operations and maintenance, $339 million for procurement, and $412 million for military construction. It also would also require normal competitive bidding procedures for all government contracts relating to Iraq's oil infrastructure." (H.R. 3289, CQ Vote #562: Passed 303-125: R 220-6; D 83-118; I 0-1, October 17, 2003, Brown voted Nay)

Is Dewine's campaign not getting this information out? If not, they deserve to lose. Dewine should be leading by 10 points in the polls if this information is out. That he's not tells me his campaign is playing defense and not offense by using dynamite stuff like this.

I saw them debating on a tv show and Brown was so articulate while dewine was horribly boring. I think that might have something to do with it. I agree that we need this seat for the sake of the United States, but DeWine needs to get off the can and get his achievements out. I can't help him since I am a Pennsylvanian. Hopefully the folks in Ohio can see though the personality of Brown and vote for DeWine who may not have any charisma but is a Republican and can help the Republicans keep the Senate.

One of his most disturbing votes was shortly after 9/11. He voted NO to fund the military. His record is crystal clear.

Sharrod Brown Let Us Down!!! (One of the best commercials I've seen so far).

how could even a scum bag like brown...not vote to fund the military after 9/11?

he should be wearing a turbin and beating his burka wearing wife!

what is wrong with these unpatriotic america hating people?

the piaps keeps screeching.."you are a patriot..if you have dissent against the war, etc."

this is why no one should be voting lib/dems into office!

how soon if they get into power.. will they just mimic the french and wave a white flag to the muzzies?
