My state (NC) is one of the worst. An increase of over 400%. It is especially evident in the lower grades. My wife is a teacher. The percentage of hispanic kids in the K-3 age range is mindboggling. If something isn't done quick with the borders and immigration, our country will become a Hispanic one in the next 150 years and we'll lose our proud western heritage.

I would say it wouldn't take 150 years for that to happen.

I don't know the exact number but I would put the average Hispanic "generation" at 20 years. (From birth to giving birth)

150 years would be 7 generations of Hispanics to what? 5 generations of Whites. FACT!*

Born in the US and still have limited English proficiency? What a bunch of loosers! My niece from Eastern Europe came here at the age of 16 without knowing how to say "Hello" in English. 2 years later she graduated summa cum laude from the high school.
