Top employees of a city-financed Bronx charity diverted hundreds of thousands of dollars for personal expenses like home renovations, furniture and the purchase of a Volvo and a BMW, a city investigation has found.
The widespread fraud in recent years at the charity, the Gloria Wise Boys and Girls Club, which received $9 million a year in city financing to help children and the elderly, also included off-the-books bank accounts created under the guise of supporting youth athletic programs that were used to pay bonuses to the executive director and four other officials, according to the citys Department of Investigation

They are all liberal (government-funded) democrats.
It's for the children, of course.
/ignoring this by the MSM because it's not Bush's fault
Yep, a big dimocRAT fraud case. Will see little of it mentioned in the MSM.
Typical democrat politicians. Not much different from the democrat politicos in you area at this very moment. Ever notice how they all become multi-millionaires by the time they leave office, like the Clintons?
Ms. Corva told investigators that she and other employees falsely certified that the children had received required exams and vaccinations.

But...but...the Democrats do it all for the children, don't they?
OOHHH to see that Fish Faced Fat F**k Franken, in an orange set of coveralls, being frog hopped out of the Airhead America studio.......
It also always amazes me to see how the "party of tolerance" takes such delight in outing gays. And suffering no ill will with their gay base from their actions.
Friday afternoon NYT data dump, designed to make this story sink beneath the waves quickly to never be seen again.
Let me guess, Section B, Page 38, bottom left corner, right?
Yesterday, Charles Rosen, 63, the executive director of Gloria Wise from 1993 to 2005, and Jeffrey Aulenbach, 46, the former deputy director for operations at the charity, pleaded guilty in State Supreme Court in the Bronx to grand larceny and obstruction of government administration.
and
Mr. Rosen and Mr. Aulenbach agreed to make restitution of $38,575 and $32,363, respectively, and to pay a $5,000 fine each, according to the state attorney generals office, which prosecuted the case. The plea agreement, entered before Justice John N. Byrne, bars them from working at a nonprofit group for three years.
In other words, between them, Rosen and Aulenbach stole $156,587, of which they have to repay $80,938, or about 52% in fines and restitution. They received no jail time and this plea agreement apparently immunizes them from further state prosecution. Eliott Spitzer really did a great job of giving them a sweetheart deal from which they are able to keep $75,649 of the money they stole for their personal use. Disgusting.
