The U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals has blocked enforcement of a state law that requires voters to show identification and would-be voters to submit proof of citizenship when registering to vote.
The general election is Nov. 7, The law had already been used for the Sept. 12 primary and in some municipal elections.
State Atty. Gen. Terry Goddard said he would appeal.

Goddard knows Nappy has lost her mind as well as many others. He has never stood against these fools before to the point of doing anything that matters. Will he this time? Goddard IS NOT a couple cards short of a full deck, so he needs to do the right thing and stop pandering to his pathetic party leader. Show some spine, Goddard...
Here's an example from the 1860s. Frankly, it started before the ink was dry on the Constitution.
Of course. Without illegal votes for democrats, even California might go Conservative. Allowing citizenship ID and a validation of legal voting would be suicide for the democrat party.
(shaking head)
Recount till you get the right results, eh.
What was the result of the court case?
Lets see you need an picture ID card rent a video but not one to vote. That makes perfect sense. "Not"
For free.
I think these documents, whatever they are, have to be free.
I understand that another court can be created and divide the geography into that other court. Their territory is too large anywho.
Hmmmm.. didn't see it. Too bad, it's the perfect shot.

Will a gravestone rubbing count as identification? In Chicago, we never deny a person their right to vote just because they have passed on.
"This is a damned outrage. This is our country, not the 9th Circuit's. For almost 69 years I have played by the rules, spent 12 of those years in the military. I have had legal credentials all of my life, and have had to show them at the polling place many times. Traveling outside to this country I have had to have proper documentation as to who I am. I have not once objected to those rules. They were put in place to protect us from fraud. Now this court is begging for fraud, and telling those of us who have obeyed the laws of this land that we are suckers, who have no right to expect to keep what we have worked for all of our lives. "
Worth repeating!
B T T T
You keep control of the presidency and US senate and you wait for them to die.
Just another stupid decision by a bunch of 60's commie/hippie democrat pseudo-judges planted by a bunch of commie/hippie californicate democrat lawmakers with the help of commie/hippie democrat presidents.
She was against this ID requirement from the beginning, but tried not to speak of it, even though the voters were for it. Now that the court struck it down, there's no chance we can have it looked at before the election by SCOTUS.
AND let me tell you what. Democrat Attorney General Terry Goddard is a tool. He likes the decision by the 9th circus. He's just going to do an appeal as cover agianst the voters of AZ. He knows if he doesn't, he's toast.
Watch him take his sweet as* time on the appeal too.
I'm so sick of these liberals I can't even see straight.
I anyone actually surprised by this?
Didn't think so.
Good.
