I agree, the Chevy commercial utterly sucks.
For a quick antidote, view the new Ford Mustang commercial. Takes place on a loading dock in Hamburg as a new Shelby Cobra is being uncrated. The German dockworker says to the car owner, "You couldn't vind a Cherman car you like?" The car owner says, "No, I couldn't find an American speed limit I liked." Next frame: Shelby Cobra on the Autobahn.
I gotta ask, what the heck kind of name is 'Shelby' for a car? I've seen that commercial and everytime I see the car name I wonder what the manufacturer was thinking. Doesn't sound fast, manly, cool, or whatever it was supposed to be. In fact, sounds kinda wimpy.
